America’s next 250 years will not be built without strong schools.

To celebrate NTD’s 25th anniversary and America’s 250th, we brought together some of the people we collaborate with across school construction for a conversation about the work, the challenges, and the purpose behind it all.

The roundtable features perspectives from architecture, engineering, general contracting, owner’s representation, building automation, demolition and abatement, facilities leadership, and mechanical construction. Together, they discuss what most people never see: the planning, coordination, communication, and responsibility it takes to build and renovate schools that serve students, teachers, families, and communities for years to come.

The Engineer has made several site visits and every time he has been on site he has commented on how fantastic everything looks and that NTD has hit every mark that he laid out for the project. So please relay this message to your guys and let them know because of their performance out here we will be glad to work with them on our future projects.

The last time we spoke I had mentioned that the Trade Partners are the heart and soul of the projects, your group has reinsured this for me and has made a great point when I talk to newer PMs in our organization. A lot of times we get caught up in day to day office work and sometimes forget that the real ROCKSTARS of the projects are our tradesmen/tradeswomen, projects do not move without them. All of your field hands that I have meet so far have my respect for the pride/work ethic/knowledge they have for their craft. I also want to add on a side note that I am very impressed with your organization and definitely look forward to many more projects in the future. I will be speaking highly of your organization in our internal meetings so your group gets the opportunity to show everyone else with McGough what y’all are made of and what your group brings to the table.”
