NTD Mechanical Awarded Subcontractor of the Month by DISD

Recently the Dallas Independent School District gave us the Subcontractor of the Month award for our excellent safety execution. This means more to us than you can imagine.

Safety is at the core of who we are. It’s so important that we ensure our team members get home safely every night that we have crafted a Zero Accident Philosophy®, and then backed that up with extensive training, project oversight, and most recently a dedicated Safety Director.

Our team is the most important thing to us, and we are honored to have been selected as DISD’s November 2017 Subcontractor of the Month.

The project is part of the 2015 Bond Safety Program, signed by Alvaro Meza, Bond Safety Director. You can see why this means so much to us! Thanks to DISD for the recognition, and most of all, thanks to our team for staying focused on safety and ensuring our projects are managed so professionally.

“A couple weeks ago in our OAC meeting for UNT SRB2 the NTD Trade Partner was specifically called out by the Owner & Engineers on how awesome they are performing in the field. The Engineers specifically mentioned that the design for all of the stainless steel piping had him very worried due to the limited amount of space and all of the intricate detail it was going to take to install successfully. The Engineer has made several site visits and every time he has been on site he has commented on how fantastic everything looks and that NTD has hit every mark that he laid out for the project. The last time we spoke I had mentioned that the Trade Partners are the heart and soul of the projects, your group has reinsured this for me and has made a great point when I talk to newer PMs in our organization. A lot of times we get caught up in day to day office work and sometimes forget that the real ROCKSTARS of the projects are our tradesmen/tradeswomen, projects do not move without them. All of your field hands that I have meet so far have my respect for the pride/work ethic/knowledge they have for their craft.
