NTD strives for excellence and innovation in each one of our projects. Recently at the ASA Awards Gala, the American Subcontractor Association recognized the outstanding subcontractor projects of the year. We are excited to announce that our project “TEXRail Equipment Maintenance Facility” was recognized. We are honored to be the recipient of the Platinum Award for the 2019 Subcontractor Award — Project Size Category of $1 – $5 Million.

Superior craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do. As with any project the TEXRail Equipment Maintenance Facility had its obstacles, but never one NTD could not overcome. The end results have spoken for themselves and we could not be more pleased with the outcome.

There were four other highly competent project submissions in this category. There was a two-part judgment for each submission. 50% of the scores came from surveys taken by the General Contractor’s Project Manager and Superintendent to rank NTD’s performance, scaling from 1-10. The remaining 50% of scores were from a 3-panel judge who reviewed all submissions.

The last time we spoke I had mentioned that the Trade Partners are the heart and soul of the projects, your group has reinsured this for me and has made a great point when I talk to newer PMs in our organization. A lot of times we get caught up in day to day office work and sometimes forget that the real ROCKSTARS of the projects are our tradesmen/tradeswomen, projects do not move without them. All of your field hands that I have meet so far have my respect for the pride/work ethic/knowledge they have for their craft. I also want to add on a side note that I am very impressed with your organization and definitely look forward to many more projects in the future. I will be speaking highly of your organization in our internal meetings so your group gets the opportunity to show everyone else with McGough what y’all are made of and what your group brings to the table.”
