The award recognizes a well-established, woman-owned construction company that has performed exemplary in the industry and does business in the North Texas area.
December 18, 2017 –NTD Mechanical (North Texas Ductworks, LLC), a mechanical construction firm providing commercial services for HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Energy Management and Commercial Services and Maintenance, is pleased to announce they were selected as the 2017 Luna Award winner for Established Construction Firm of the Year.
The award is presented by the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association and was created to celebrate the achievements of women in the architecture, construction and engineering industry, as well as to promote fundraising to further their scholarship efforts.
Carmen Smith, President and Founder of NTD Mechanical and 100% owner, was pleased that 2017 was the year the organization won, after having been nominated on two prior occasions.
“We have come a long way, and this is our best year yet,” says Smith. “We all felt receiving this award was a tremendous honor, and are humbled to have been selected.”
NTD has seen exponential growth since it was founded in 2001. This year, the team has added a dedicated Safety Manager, a dedicated team member for BIM, and additional services around energy management and maintenance to continue to serve their clients.
